There are a couple of limited-time events, too. If that's still not enough loot for you, between 6pm and 7pm BST every day is now a Gold Rush, where you'll be able to earn even more rewards for cashing in loot.

This takes place between 7pm and 7am BST, and I can't believe they've done this, but they're called Fort Nights. On top of that, every Friday evening you'll now get increased rewards for handing in stronghold items, which can be found by completing forts. These range from completing skeleton forts, to simply getting drunk with your mates in the tavern.

But now Rare have put in checkpoints, so if you're midway through one and have to stop for whatever reason, you'll be able to propose a Tall Tale straight from your inventory in your next session at the chapter you left it at.Īs for that loot-earning goodness, daily bounties are now available for pirates to earn themselves a little more coin. More importantly, there are also tons of quality of life changes being introduced, the first of which are the long-awaited checkpoints for Tall Tales.īefore now, players had to complete the Tall Tale quests all within one session because there was no way to save your progress and come back to it later.
#Sea of thieves shroudbreaker update
Sea of Thieves is available now on PC, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.The newest Sea Of Thieves update docked yesterday, and though it hasn't got quite as much big new stuff as last month's, Lost Treasures is bringing a whole heap of mini-events to earn bonus loot for your pirates. These each became available for purchase by players who accomplished specific challenges/events during those updates. These three scars came out in 2018 alongside the Cursed Sails and Hungering Deep content updates to Sea of Thieves that year, respectively. The other scars that were available to players but have since gone away include the Bone Crusher Scars, the Forsaken Ashes Scars, and the Shark Bitemark Scars. In both cases, players had to reach Renown level 100 within that season to earn the respective scar. The second scar option was available from April until June 22nd of this year. The Shroudbreaker Scar became available to earn in later January of this year and left the game with the end of season 1 in April. In order to unlock Shroudbreaker scar as well as Scars of the Ocean Deep in Sea of Thieves, players had to have played season 1 and season 2, respectively. For players interested, this update will likely remain open for about 12 weeks and this scar becomes available for purchase for players who reach Renown level 100. The former scar is available right now as part of the game's third season, which began on June 22nd. So some of these scars have been only available during these seasons of content. This makes the Scar of the Blue Horizon and the Forsaken Ashes Scars the only options open for players who recently joined Sea of Thieves. Sea of Thieves runs seasons of different content where players can take on new challenges and earn new rewards. RELATED: Sea of Thieves Reaches Massive Player Milestone on Third Anniversary Unfortunately for Sea of Thieves players, most of these scars were only open for a limited time. This list includes the Scar of the Blue Horizon, Scars of the Ocean Deep, Shroudbreaker Scar, Bone Crusher Scars, Forsaken Ashes Scars, and Shark Bitemark Scars. Vanity chests spawn in ships as well as in front of General Clothing Stores at outposts and in Athena's Fortune Hideout. At the moment there have been six scars players could have or currently can access.

Though these Vanity chests can be easy to find in Sea of Thieves, Vanity items such as scars can be difficult to unlock. This chest is home to beards, hair, hooks, tattoos, and even the more rare items in the game such as curses and scars. Sea of Thieves players looking to spice up their character can turn to the Vanity chest.
